About us

East Neuk Lighthouse is a group of people who follow Jesus and his teaching. To us this means caring for the people in our community and helping out where we have the skills and resources to do that.

We think of ourselves as a church although we don’t do things the traditional way. We like to keep things informal, contemporary, with activities built around people and the things they want to do.

We’ve been based in the East Neuk since 2007 and have operated as a charity since 2008.

Most of our activities are free, however we do gratefully accept donations. The easiest way to help us is to use Easyfundraising.org.uk

You need to create a login, then select a cause to support. Search for “East Neuk lighthouse”.
Once selected, we will receive a small donation from all your online shopping across a wide range of participating retailers.

If shopping on Amazon, please use AmazonSmile to enable us to receive a small donation.

You can also help us by donating your used ink jet printer cartridges to recycle4charity.co.uk. You will need to register and then search for "East Neuk Lighthouse" as your chosen charity.

Thank you

We are grateful to everyone who supported us through the Coop's Community Fund. Your generosity contributed over £7000 which we will plough back into the East Neuk via our literacy projects and family support activities.

Also, a BIG thank you to the Nora Webber Trust and Murray Library Trust for their continuing support for our literacy projects in 2022/23.
